Women's Wellness 2026

The Perimenopause Nutrition Shift

From restriction to support: a lifestyle approach that supports women's changing physiology, provides nourishment and prevents chronic disease. Session Summary: As awareness around perimenopause and menopause continues to grow, women are receiving more wellness information than ever — but much of the messaging remains confusing, overly restrictive, or misaligned with what the body needs during this transition.

In this session, registered dietitian Kendra Haire will share the key patterns she sees while counseling women in midlife. Drawing from both clinical experience and current evidence, she will share nutrition strategies that support metabolic resilience, increased energy, and long-term health in midlife and beyond.

Attendees will explore why many common “healthy eating” approaches can backfire during perimenopause, and how shifting the conversation from restriction to support can help women feel and function better, setting them up for long-term health and metabolic resilience.
