Menopause, Microbiome Shifts, and Clinical Implications
As women’s health has become a key focus in the wellness industry, increasing evidence is pointing to the relationship between the gut microbiome and hormone metabolism, especially throughout menopause. This talk will highlight changes in microbial patterns that have been correlated with hormone-related conditions, including symptom severity in menopause. Gut microbiome modulation, with targeted prebiotics and anti-inflammatory polyphenols, as a potential therapeutic intervention will also be addressed.
