Jacob has created over a dozen supply chains of specialty ingredients, connecting smallholder farmers to large markets globally, and he co-authored the first global industry report of fonio: the world’s most ancient grain. Jacob has served in the Peace Corps as an Agricultural Extension Officer in Ghana where he helped create local businesses focused on value addition, governmentally recognized farming groups and community education and wellness campaigns. He followed his service by creating a grain distribution business with his community aimed at providing steady income for isolated farmers in northern Ghana as well as reliable food sources for schools. Currently, as the COO of Agricycle Global, he established and oversees our global supply network and works with our global team to ensure smooth operation and logistical victories. He also manages the certification and compliance requirements, product development and global industry standards.
