Day 2: September 30, 1:30-2pm EDT

Effective, innovative condition-directed supplement formulas are available to support health issues that affect millions of people as they age. How do we bring these uniquely targeted formulations into our brands, stores and health practices when they don’t fit neatly in an existing, yet significant category like bladder control? And, how do we open a dialog with consumers to let them know these life-changing solutions are “on the shelf” when they might not want to admit or talk about the condition they need help with the most? Let’s talk!

Day 1: September 29 2:00-2:30pm EDT

Vitamin K2 is a vital nutrient for supporting bone and cardiovascular health. This has been shown in observational and intervention trials, demonstrated in healthy and patient populations. And the bone benefits have been proven in both adult and child populations. Its mechanism has been verified, its safety and efficacy confirmed.

Even more recently, Vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7 (MK-7) is emerging as contributing significantly to whole-body health, promoting the increased ability to age in a healthy way beyond bone and cardiovascular health.

This evidence supports the argument that correcting a widespread Vitamin K2 deficiency can significantly improve global health. The first step in remedying that deficiency is establishing a K2-specific recommended daily intake (RDI). But the RDI for vitamin K focuses on anticoagulation, and is not enough to support bone and heart health.
